Description

Manage daily production activities within a machine and heat treatment shop, ensuring quality, delivery, and efficiency goals are met.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
• Monitor production schedules, material flow, and equipment utilization for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot process challenges, identify root causes, and apply lasting improvements.
• Supervise and develop machinists, operators, and team leads while fostering teamwork.
• Track performance metrics including output, downtime, and scrap rates to drive improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in machining, manufacturing, or production leadership.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, production planning, and metalworking processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience with daily operations in a machine and heat treatment shop.
• Proven leadership and team development skills in a high-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
