Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities in assigned manufacturing areas (SMT & Mechanical Assembly).
Ensure production targets, KPIs, and delivery schedules are met in alignment with customer requirements and expectations.
Monitor and drive improvements in key metrics such as yield, throughput, downtime, and labor efficiency; execute swiftly.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of operators, assemblers, and line support staff.
Enforce company policies, safety standards, ESD compliance, and quality procedures (ISO 9001, IPC standards).
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, PM, Material, and Warehouse teams to resolve production issues and material shortages for critical NPI builds.
Identify and escalate production risks, bottlenecks, and quality concerns promptly.
Conduct shift handovers, daily production meetings, and report on production performance.
Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and overtime management based on business needs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to optimize operations.
Maintain accurate production records and utilize systems such as ERP/SFC for tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with principles of SMT processes and electronics mechanical assembly is a plus.
Skills:
Demonstrate strong leadership and team management experience.
Solid understanding of SMT processes, PCBA manufacturing, and production flow.
Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610), ESD practices, and quality systems (ISO 9001).
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and shop floor control (SFC).
Ability to analyze production data and drive performance improvements.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent of 5 years of relevant experience can be considered.
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in SMT/PCBA production.
Prior supervisory or team lead experience required
