Description

Manage and resolve production incidents in large-scale cloud environments, ensuring high availability and rapid recovery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues across Linux, Kubernetes, and GCP infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain automation scripts to streamline incident response and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
• Monitor system performance and reliability metrics to proactively address potential failures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Production Support or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Expert-level proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and management.
• Proven ability in writing automation scripts for operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with Solar, APG, Kafka, IBM Cloud, or Data IQ.
