Description

You monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system issues in real time to ensure service availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage critical applications in a high-pressure production environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for rapid incident resolution.
• Utilize command-line tools and scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Query and analyze data using SQL across Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Monitor system health using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or Grafana.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in production or application support.
• Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and command-line operations.
• Advanced SQL skills with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ticketing systems: ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy.
• Knowledge of job schedulers: Autosys or Control-M.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Experience with 24x7 support rotations.
