Description

You provide real-time production support for trading applications and investment systems, ensuring stability and rapid incident resolution during business hours.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts, chat channels, and phone lines to triage and resolve incidents during 7 AM – 6 PM coverage, including rotating shifts.
• Troubleshoot application and system issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
• Communicate clearly with business users, including traders and portfolio managers, during time-sensitive incidents.
• Participate in incident management and escalation processes to minimize downtime.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across systems and workflows.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in production or application support.
• Proficiency with SQL and PostgreSQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Honeycomb or Splunk.
• Familiarity with IT service management tools like ServiceNow.
• Strong verbal communication skills to articulate issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to think critically and solve unfamiliar problems under pressure.
• Basic understanding of application architecture and system workflows.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress, time-sensitive environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services or investment management, especially trading environments.
• Exposure to working with traders or front-office stakeholders.
