Description

Manage and maintain web application delivery and security configurations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Akamai website and application delivery configurations, including NetStorage, custom caching, and routing.
• Configure Akamai modules such as Adaptive Image Compression, Content Targeting, Edge Redirector, and Front End Optimization.
• Manage web performance and security via WAF, SiteShield, and Site Failover.
• Oversee DNS management and SSL certificate lifecycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support or webmaster roles.
• Deep understanding of DNS management and SSL Certificates.
• Experience with Akamai NetStorage and delivery configurations.
• Proficiency with NGINX and Apache web servers.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure Gateways.
• Knowledge of AngularJS.
• Experience with security products including Kona Site Defender, Prolexic, and BOT Manager.
• Technical familiarity with HTTP/2, Image Manager, Mobile Detection, and Real User Monitoring.
• Strong experience using Jira and Confluence for support workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working specifically as a Webmaster or in Akamai support.
