Description

Manage day-to-day operations of the technology platform and lead incident resolution for Java, SQL, and Unix environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations for the technology platform involving Java, SQL, and Unix.
• Identify production issues and manage incident, enhancement, and problem tickets.
• Lead production support incidents and own escalations through troubleshooting and research.
• Monitor production and performance SLAs, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Support an on-call rotation for off-hours and weekend coverage.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant IT experience in Production Support, ITIL, or Release Support.
• Proficiency with Java, Python, and Kafka.
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, and PL/SQL query performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Strong operating system knowledge in Unix and Windows, including scripting.
• Monitoring expertise using Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with Autosys and event-driven or schedule-driven batch processes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of middleware including Message Broker, IBM WebSphere MQ, JBOSS, or MuleSoft.
