Description

Manage and support middleware integration services and API lifecycles in a production environment. Own the end-to-end troubleshooting of message translation issues, including JSON to SOAP and SOAP to JSON conversions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support services using IBM DataPower and API Connect components.
• Lead project tasks independently, including the development of policies, scripts, and code on DataPower.
• Create and publish APIs within API Connect using various integration techniques and messaging standards.
• Analyze infrastructure design documents to implement necessary deployment policies and configurations.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end message translation issues in a production setting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in application support or application development.
• Hands-on experience with IBM DataPower (multi-protocol gateways, web service proxies, firewalls) and IIB/IBM WebSphere Message Broker.
• Proficiency with API Connect (APIC) and IBM WebSphere MQ.
• Strong expertise in XML technologies including XSL, XPath, XQuery, and XSLT.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs and SOAP web services.
• Experience with version control tools including GitHub, SVN, and UCD.
• Strong UNIX/LINUX command line experience.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as SOAPUI.
• Knowledge of SSL Handshake and DataPower proxy profiles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk and AppDynamics.
