Description

You will provide essential support for production systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, restart, and rerun batch operations and resolve any system abends.
• Perform data corrections and maintain data integrity across various systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on production incidents.
• Manage high-priority (P1/P2) incidents, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Coordinate resolution efforts among business users, vendors, infrastructure, and application teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in production support roles.
• Strong expertise in mainframe technologies: Z/VSE, Z/OS, COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Assembler, EasyTrieve.
• Hands-on experience supporting batch operations.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management).
• Proven experience handling critical incidents (P1/P2).
• Proficiency using ServiceNow and Jira for tracking and ticketing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the life insurance domain.
• ITIL Certification.
