Description

You will own the stability of production systems by managing incidents, resolving batch operations, and maintaining data integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, restart, and rerun batch operations while resolving system abends.
• Perform data corrections to maintain integrity across various systems.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
• Manage high-priority (P1/P2) incidents, ensuring strict SLA adherence.
• Coordinate resolution efforts among business users, vendors, infrastructure, and application teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in production support roles.
• Strong expertise in mainframe technologies: Z/VSE, Z/OS, COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Assembler, and EasyTrieve.
• Hands-on experience supporting batch operations.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management).
• Proficiency using ServiceNow and Jira for tracking and ticketing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the life insurance domain.
• ITIL Certification.
