Description

You will provide 24/7 production support for critical Java-based applications, ensuring stability and performance across on-prem and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Java applications in production to resolve incidents and improve performance.
• Manage and support API endpoints, utilizing Swagger for documentation, testing, and integration.
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines using CI/CD methodologies and DevOps tools.
• Monitor and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor Kafka for real-time data streaming, addressing performance issues and ensuring reliable message delivery.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in production support for on-prem and cloud-based systems.
• Proficiency in Java development, including troubleshooting and optimizing applications.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting for system automation and administration.
• Experience with API management and Swagger.
• Experience with Keycloak for identity and access management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience monitoring application performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
