Description

You will provide technology-level application support for a defined set of applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management while providing application support.
• Drive high-priority and critical issues through root cause analysis, tactical fixes, and permanent resolution.
• Analyze, prepare, and execute scripts to operationally resolve system failures.
• Develop, configure, and enhance application monitoring to improve alerting capabilities.
• Automate repetitive and manual tasks using scripting languages to reduce toil.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in application production management.
• Experience with Oracle database and SQL.
• Proficiency in Unix or Linux operating systems.
• Strong skills in Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Experience automating tasks using scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Geneos alert configuration and development.
• Experience with Python Scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Control M or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts.
