You will provide technology-level application support, ensuring system stability through incident resolution, automation, and monitoring enhancements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support applications adhering to ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Drive high-priority issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent resolutions.
• Analyze, prepare, and execute scripts to operationally resolve system breaks.
• Develop and enhance application monitoring to improve alerting capabilities.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting to reduce manual toil and handle service requests within SLAs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional working experience.
• Strong proficiency in Unix or Linux environments.
• Experience with Oracle database and SQL.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes container technology.
• Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting.
• Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Experience with automation of repetitive tasks via scripting.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting issues in a distributed environment.

Preferred Skills

• Python Scripting.
• Experience with Geneos alerts configuration and development.
