Description

You will provide second-level support for live production issues and critical incidents within financial product applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Triage and troubleshoot live site issues to identify root causes and implement immediate mitigation plans.
• Prioritize solutions based on customer impact and business necessity.
• Collaborate with product development teams and vendors to develop long-term technical solutions and process enhancements.
• Coordinate with Site Operations and command center teams to resolve site-wide issues.
• Participate in a rotating schedule for weekend and after-hours support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support or software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Perl, or JavaScript.
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with stored procedures and Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and Shell scripting.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and secure computing using TLS and cryptographic tools.
• Experience troubleshooting complex multi-tier applications.
• Experience with batch frameworks such as Control-M, Spring Batch, Autosys, or Apache AirFlow.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Splunk, SignalFX, or Nagios.
• Degree in Engineering, Computing, or a related field.
