Description

You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 functional and technical support for production environments, ensuring system stability and rapid issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage incident logging, root cause analysis, and serve as the first line of contact for production issues.
• Monitor application components, middleware, and databases to proactively prevent performance degradation or crashes.
• Coordinate with L3, Development, and Infrastructure teams to resolve recurring issues and manage server patching.
• Execute release deployments, perform post-release checks, and conduct functional validation across staging and production.
• Maintain technical documentation and mentor new team members to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Application Production Support.
• Strong proficiency with Oracle and SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and automation tools including Geneos, ServiceNow, Autosys, Jenkins, and Dynatrace.
• Scripting experience using Perl, Python, or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of file transfer protocols such as CFT, FTP, and SFTP.
• Experience working within Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments.
• Ability to manage incident, change, and problem management procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud migrations and IV2 projects.
