Description

Own the stability and availability of large-scale production environments, acting as the first point of contact for technology and business stakeholders. You will ensure operational continuity through proactive monitoring, rapid incident resolution, and rigorous change management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production environments and critical batch processing using observability tools to detect anomalies and maintain system stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues impacting the application stack, coordinating resources and communicating solutions to stakeholders.
• Manage incident, problem, and change management lifecycles, including root cause analysis and post-mortem documentation.
• Onboard new businesses, clients, and applications to the supported portfolio while maintaining real-time monitoring dashboards.
• Participate in rotational on-call shifts, including late nights and weekends, to support critical operational windows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining IT services in large-scale, hybrid (on-premises and public cloud) environments.
• Proficiency with batch scheduling tools, specifically Control M and Autosys.
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting applications using Python, Java, or .NET frameworks.
• Strong UNIX/Linux skills, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and shell scripting.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries against relational databases.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident coordination, stakeholder communication, and problem management.

Preferred Skills

• Undergraduate degree in a numerate subject such as mathematics, engineering, or computing science.
• Experience monitoring trading application stacks.
