Description

You will own application support, incident resolution, and infrastructure maintenance for production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to application support requests and manage incident and problem resolution during on-call schedules.
• Execute infrastructure maintenance activities and support release and deployment tasks as directed.
• Troubleshoot applications by reviewing logs, data, and relevant tools to identify root causes.
• Monitor jobs, respond to alerts promptly, and manage changes via instructions from application teams.
• Communicate technical issues effectively to business-level stakeholders through verbal and written channels.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support or application engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, including command-line navigation and execution.
• Experience with SWIFT software and SWIFT applications.
• Understanding of Oracle Database structure, data replication, and SQL query execution.
• Familiarity with WebLogic, IIS, and IBM WebSphere MQ.
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues and understand HTTP protocols for API calls.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for operational efficiency.
• Experience using Remedy Incident, Problem, and Change Management modules.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting financial services or SWIFT-based environments.
• Strong background in automated monitoring and alerting systems.
