Role Overview

We are seeking experienced L2/L3 Production Support Engineers to join a dynamic support and reliability engineering team. The role focuses on ensuring application stability, resolving production issues, and driving continuous improvement through automation, monitoring enhancements, and collaboration with development teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and debugging skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Provide proactive, end-to-end production support by analyzing, debugging, and resolving application and system issues
Monitor application performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability
Contribute to the development and enhancement of SRE practices to improve system stability and operational efficiency
Manage incident lifecycle including issue identification, impact assessment, escalation, and stakeholder communication
Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot complex issues and drive long-term fixes and improvements
Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
Escalate critical issues to management and development teams when required, ensuring timely resolution
Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable code snippets for issue resolution and knowledge sharing
Demonstrate ability to write and understand code to support debugging and root cause analysis when needed

Key Skills & Requirements

4–10 years of experience in L2/L3 Application Production Support (preferably 6–10 years for senior profiles)
Strong hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (preferably Java)
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and write code for issue resolution and automation tasks
Experience working in production environments with incident and problem management processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
