Description

You own the stability and resolution of production applications as an L2/L3 Support Engineer.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve application and system issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Monitor application performance and contribute to SRE practices for operational efficiency.
• Manage the full incident lifecycle, including identification, impact assessment, and stakeholder communication.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and write code snippets to support debugging and root cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and collaborate with development teams on long-term fixes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in L2/L3 Application Production Support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.
• Ability to read and write code for issue resolution and automation tasks.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in production environments with incident and problem management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SRE practices and production reliability frameworks.
• Experience in automation and scripting for operational efficiency.
