Description

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for API-based application services handling 330 million daily requests. You will own the stability of high-throughput environments and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Fix bugs in Java and Python to maintain application stability.
• Manage batch file processing and reprocessing for files dropped in S3 buckets.
• Perform ETL-focused work involving real-time file updates and integration.
• Monitor and support high-volume API services interacting with third parties.
• Execute patching work and resolve production incidents.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of experience in Level 2 or Level 3 production support.
• Proficiency in Java for bug fixing and support tasks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, specifically managing files in S3.
• Experience supporting API-based application services.
• Background in ETL processes and real-time file integration.
• Ability to support high-throughput environments.
• Experience with batch file processing.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Python.
