Description

Own production support for backend services, focusing on debugging, stability, and rapid incident resolution across NodeJS, Spring Boot, and Python environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve production issues in distributed backend systems using NodeJS, Spring Boot 3.x, and Python.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration with React-based frontend applications.
• Optimize database performance and schema design for PostgreSQL, leveraging strong SQL skills for data processing and automation.
• Develop and maintain clean, strongly typed TypeScript code and implement robust testing frameworks for both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and support scalable web application architecture.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development and production support.
• Proficient in Spring Boot 3.x for building robust backend services.
• Strong experience with NodeJS and Python for scripting, automation, and service development.
• Advanced SQL skills, specifically with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema management.
• Hands-on experience with React, including modern patterns and Material UI (current and legacy versions).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable TypeScript code with a focus on type safety.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs with frontend interfaces.
• Strong communication skills for effective debugging and cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases alongside relational systems.
• Background in building scalable web applications from the ground up.
