Description

Manage and maintain monitoring infrastructure to ensure application and network performance and availability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, instrument, and leverage Splunk to support production environments.
• Monitor N-Tier architectures including webservers, middleware, and databases.
• Manage OS-based infrastructure services across Windows and Unix environments.
• Automate tasks using shell scripts and programming languages.
• Align technical monitoring strategies with business context and ITIL processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support or monitoring roles.
• Proficiency in Splunk deployment and instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, SiteScope, or Catchpoint.
• Experience with Java and/or .NET programming.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix OS infrastructure and processing.
• Experience monitoring application and network performance in N-Tier architectures.
• Familiarity with ITIL functions and processes.
• Ability to write and maintain shell scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microfocus BPM.
• Background in System Administration, Database Administration, or Middleware support.
