Description

You will own L1.5/L2 support for data platforms, ensuring stability and performance of Snowflake, Talend, and Power BI environments.

Provide support for data platforms including Snowflake, Talend/TMC, Qlik Replicate, and Power BI. Monitor ETL/ELT pipelines to resolve job failures, schema drift, and data quality issues. Execute deployments, patching, and upgrades in coordination with DevOps and infrastructure teams. Automate routine support tasks using Python or PowerShell scripts. Manage incidents, service requests, and problems using ServiceNow within an ITIL-based model. Support change management processes, including release coordination and documentation. Collaborate with data engineers during migration and transformation phases. Ensure compliance with SLAs, audit requirements, and security policies like RBAC. Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base for operational continuity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or platform support.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Talend/TMC, Qlik Replicate, and Power BI operations.
• Strong SQL skills and performance tuning across data warehouse and BI tools.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows and ITIL-based support models.
• Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Understanding of data quality checks, schema drift detection, and observability.
• Experience with access control, RBAC, and audit processes.
• Deep experience in ETL/replication tools and cloud data warehouses.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to change management and release processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues.
