Description

You will own production support and reliability engineering for critical trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current and future state workflows for investment teams.
• Develop technical solutions and produce code based on business requirements for investment systems.
• Provide production support for trading systems and data feeds, troubleshooting priority incidents.
• Design monitoring frameworks for end-to-end flow monitoring and noiseless alerting.
• Manage the prioritization, logging, and tracking of user issues, defects, and enhancement requests.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Expert proficiency in at least one technology stack (designing, coding, testing, delivering software).
• Strong skills in C#, Python, Shell Scripting, Java, and SQL.
• Experience with SysOps and working knowledge of infrastructure components (cloud products, container systems, networks).
• Expert in performance monitoring and capacity management of large systems.
• Proficiency in Agile mode and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
• Strong analytical and debugging/troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience implementing or supporting a large OMS (Aladdin, CRD, AIM, etc).
• Familiarity with tools including Jenkins, Splunk, Prometheus, and Jira.
