Description

Develop hardware and software solutions for aviation automated test equipment (ATE) to support characterization, qualification, and production release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug ATE hardware and software solutions.
• Collaborate with design engineers to define test methodologies, test plans, and Design-For-Test (DFT) strategies.
• Define test schematics and review printed circuit board layouts for testability.
• Debug test programs, correlate data, and optimize test time for production efficiency.
• Support manufacturing through yield improvement, product transfer, failure analysis, and test time reduction.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role.
• BSEE or a STEM degree.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW, CVI, C, or C++ with object-oriented programming (OOP) skills.
• Ability to read, develop, and debug electronic circuit diagrams and ATE circuit boards.
• Strong background in electrical circuit analysis theory and design.
• Familiarity with analog and digital devices.
• Hands-on experience using lab instruments including oscilloscopes, meters, and power supplies.
• Ability to interpret data and experience with databases such as MS Access or SQL.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
