Description

Provide front-line technical support for the Rates trading desk, ensuring system stability and rapid issue resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for business users on the trading desk.
• Monitor critical trading system environments to proactively identify and resolve complex issues.
• Manage major incident management and conduct problem management to prevent recurring issues.
• Implement releases and ensure strict adherence to change management policies.
• Onboard and integrate new processes into the MAPS organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production or trading support roles.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell, Python, and SQL (including multi-table joins, grouping, and stored procedures).
• Deep understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Strong experience supporting and troubleshooting trading and risk management systems.
• Demonstrated experience applying ITIL principles.
• Solid understanding of network, server, storage, and messaging components.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters market data tools.
