Description

You will support program operations by handling data support, information verification, and administrative tasks for a specialized state agency program.

Responsibilities

• Track progress on EPA grant deliverables and manage case surveillance to assign risk assessments for children with elevated blood lead levels.
• Review and process applications for radon and lead licenses, coordinating documentation and payments with applicants and the finance team.
• Monitor supply and equipment inventory, managing ordering and coordinating necessary refurbishments or replacements with vendors.
• Support program management by onboarding new employees and overseeing the secure receipt and filing of all submitted records.
• Research departmental or public inquiries by referencing relevant files and maintaining knowledge of lead and radon hazards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a program support or administrative role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
• Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
• Ability to read and comprehend both typed and hand-written source documents.
• Skill in developing and documenting work procedures and making data entry decisions within defined program areas.
• Effective verbal and written communication with diverse groups, including officials and the public.
• Ability to research effectively using the Internet and traditional sources.
• Willingness to learn complex state rules related to program information tracking.
