Description

Lead the enterprise EHR platform implementation for NC DHHS, managing the program team, budget, and technical delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHR Program team to maintain a common vision and goals across all program areas.
• Author all project management artifacts following PMI PMBOK practices.
• Develop detailed project budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain required State project documentation.
• Supervise implementation activities and manage both State and contractual staff.
• Manage project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications as the IT management liaison.

Required Skills

• 7+ years managing projects implementing large multi-client n-tier client/server systems.
• 7+ years delivering IT projects within budget, scope, and schedule.
• 7+ years with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• 7+ years technical architecture and infrastructure knowledge across multiple hardware platforms and operating systems.
• 7+ years experience in presentation and training.
• 5+ years experience in oral and written communication.
• 5+ years objective decision-making based on strategic objectives and business performance analysis.
• 5+ years hands-on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, and testing.
• 1+ years experience managing implementation projects using Java, XML, HTML, CSS, VBScript, JavaScript, and IIS.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
