Description

You will lead the enterprise electronic health record (EHR) implementation for the DHHS Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day implementation activities and supervise State and contractual staff.
• Author project management artifacts per PMI PMBOK guidelines and maintain State documentation.
• Develop detailed budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Serve as the primary IT management liaison to business clients and senior executives.
• Conduct hands-on analysis of business and technical environments while coordinating with stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years managing projects implementing large, multi-client n-tier client/server systems.
• 7+ years delivering IT projects within budget, scope, and schedule.
• 7+ years using Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
• 7+ years technical architecture and infrastructure knowledge across multiple hardware platforms and operating systems.
• 7+ years experience in presentation and training.
• 5+ years experience in oral and written communication.
• 5+ years experience in objective decision-making based on strategic objectives and resource availability.
• 5+ years hands-on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications.
• 1+ years managing implementation projects using Java, XML, HTML, CSS, VBScript, JavaScript, and IIS.

Preferred Skills

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
