Description

You will lead the enterprise electronic health record (EHR) platform implementation for facilities overseen by the DHHS Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHR platform implementation by managing day-to-day project activities and supervising State and contractual staff.
• Author all project management artifacts following PMI PMBOK practices and guidelines.
• Develop detailed project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure project controls are instituted.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and required State documentation to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Act as the central IT management liaison between senior business executives, IT personnel, and vendors.

Required Skills

• 7+ years managing large multi-client n-tier client/server system implementations.
• 7+ years delivering IT projects within budget, scope, and schedule.
• 7+ years with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
• 7+ years technical architecture and infrastructure knowledge across multiple hardware platforms and operating systems.
• 7+ years in presentation, training, and formal communication.
• 5+ years objective decision-making based on strategic objectives and resource availability.
• 5+ years hands-on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications.
• 1+ years managing implementation projects using Java, XML, HTML, CSS, VBScript, JavaScript, and IIS.

Preferred Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
