Description

Manage large-scale IT modernization and enterprise system implementation projects for government clients, specifically unemployment insurance or workforce systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-vendor delivery environments and state technology governance frameworks.
• Coordinate development, system testing, data migration, and implementation readiness activities.
• Manage cloud-based or enterprise platform implementations with executive oversight.
• Ensure compliance with federal certification processes and readiness expectations for UI systems.
• Apply Agile, hybrid, or iterative software delivery methodologies to drive project success.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT modernization or enterprise system implementation projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing government technology modernization initiatives, preferably in unemployment insurance, workforce systems, or human services.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or iterative software delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with public sector program governance and executive oversight structures.
• Active PMP or PMI-ACP certification (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, public administration, business administration, computer science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Active PgMP certification.
• Experience supporting state unemployment insurance system modernization programs.
