Description

You will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the UI Inspire modernization project, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and a September 2026 go-live timeline.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across Benefits, Tax, and Appeals modernization workstreams and vendor delivery teams.
• Develop integrated program schedules, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Track critical implementation milestones including system testing, UAT, data migration, and security validation.
• Manage dependencies between vendor deliverables, agency readiness, and federal certification requirements.
• Present project status, risks, and escalations to agency leadership and steering committees.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT modernization or enterprise system implementation projects.
• Demonstrated experience with government technology modernization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or iterative software delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with multi-vendor delivery environments and state technology governance frameworks.
• Ability to solve complex problems and drive action across the organization.
• Support implementation of accelerated delivery approaches including AI-assisted development.
• Coordinate federal readiness activities and compliance management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in unemployment insurance, workforce systems, or human services.

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, public administration, business administration, computer science, or related field.
