Own the planning, execution, and monitoring of the UI Inspire modernization project, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and the September 2026 go-live timeline.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated program schedules, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation strategies for large-scale IT modernization.
• Coordinate activities across Benefits, Tax, and Appeals workstreams and associated vendor delivery teams.
• Manage dependencies between vendor deliverables, agency readiness activities, and federal certification requirements.
• Drive vendor progress, resolve development issues, and support accelerated delivery approaches including AI-assisted initiatives.
• Facilitate governance structures, steering committee updates, and executive briefings on project status and risks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT modernization or enterprise system implementation projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing government technology modernization initiatives, preferably in unemployment insurance or workforce systems.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or iterative software delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with multi-vendor delivery environments and state technology governance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, public administration, business administration, computer science, or related field.
• Proficiency with PMP and PMI standards.
