Description

You will drive the enterprise data management program by coordinating with business, data, and enterprise architecture staff, data stewards, and custodians.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective data management processes using data modeling expertise.
• Define and utilize taxonomies to improve data organization, classification, and metadata management.
• Develop and mature enterprise data models, data flows, and road maps.
• Align business architecture with National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) standards.
• Oversee the complete data lifecycle within a complex organizational structure.

Required Skills

• 8 years of advanced business data architecture experience.
• 8 years of extensive data modeling experience.
• 8 years of proficiency in metadata management, including taxonomies, and enhancing data quality.
• 8 years of experience bridging the gap between business architecture and NIEM standards.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of experience modeling the data lifecycle within complex organizational structures.
