Description

You will lead end-to-end program management for the cloud data platform modernization initiative, focusing on Teradata to Databricks and Snowflake migration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the migration strategy, roadmap, and delivery milestones with architects, data engineers, and cloud teams.
• Define and drive program governance, establishing KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
• Coordinate stakeholder alignment across business, infrastructure, and data teams on timelines and dependencies.
• Manage risk and issues, implementing proactive mitigation strategies across worksstreams including ingestion, ETL/ELT, quality, and security.
• Report program health, status, and risks to executive leadership in an actionable format.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of program and project management experience in large-scale data transformation.
• Proven experience migrating Teradata to modern platforms like Databricks.
• Technical understanding of Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native data ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of data engineering pipelines, including ETL/ELT, Spark, and SQL.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement, budget oversight, and vendor governance.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regulated environments such as finance or healthcare.
