Description

Lead end-to-end program management for cloud data platform modernization, specifically Teradata to Databricks and Snowflake migrations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive program governance, including KPIs, metrics, and reporting mechanisms for executive leadership.
• Coordinate with architects, data engineers, and cloud teams to plan migration strategy, roadmaps, and delivery milestones.
• Manage multiple workstreams including data ingestion, ETL/ELT modernization, data quality, security, and compliance.
• Partner with vendor teams and system integrators to manage third-party deliverables and performance.
• Ensure proactive risk and issue management with mitigation strategies across business, infrastructure, and data teams.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of program and project management experience in large-scale data transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Proven experience managing Teradata migrations to modern platforms like Databricks.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud-native data ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of data engineering and analytics pipelines, including ETL/ELT, Spark, SQL, and modern data lakehouse architectures.
• Strong background in stakeholder management, budget oversight, and vendor governance.
• Excellent understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
