Description

You will own the technical implementation and stability of the enterprise API integration platform on Google Cloud.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain ApigeeX infrastructure architecture on GCP, deploying GCP components via Terraform.
• Configure and manage Google Cloud load balancers, Private Service Connect (PSC), and Secure Web Proxy (SWP) for secure traffic management.
• Monitor API performance and infrastructure health using Splunk and Dynatrace, creating queries to troubleshoot and optimize system reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, including firewall conflicts and Managed Instance Group scaling problems.
• Collaborate with API architects on design, testing, production deployment, and ongoing support activities.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in program management or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and ApigeeX.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and GitHub for version control.
• Strong operational experience with Splunk for log analysis and Dynatrace for application performance monitoring.
• Ability to interpret firewall logs and coordinate with network security teams to resolve connectivity issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code deployment.
• Familiarity with route mapper configuration and GCP Managed Instance Groups.
