Description

You will manage technical delivery and requirements for mainframe-based claims processing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications for claims processing workflows.
• Design, develop, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and CICS.
• Write and maintain code for existing applications while adhering to quality standards.
• Coordinate daily activities between onsite and offshore development teams and mentor leads.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support UAT and production deployment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and CICS.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM mainframe tools: z/OS, ISPF, TSO, and File-aid.
• Experience with healthcare claims processing and associated systems.
• Understanding of Mainframe code migration, including package creation and promotion across regions.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills to resolve complex technical bugs.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SCM tools for version control and change management.
