Description

You will lead enterprise data governance initiatives to manage data availability, integrity, and security within a cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop data governance rules and policies to ensure enterprise data quality and accessibility.
• Create comprehensive data estate maps, including data classification and end-to-end lineage using Solidatus.
• Manage metadata using Microsoft Purview to identify integrity issues and define quality metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, data stewards, and business owners to map metadata and define data access controls.
• Investigate root causes of data issues by analyzing ETL pipelines and writing SQL or NoSQL code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical program or project management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud environments.
• Proven experience with Data Lineage tools (Solidatus or similar).
• Experience with Data Catalog cloud platforms or Microsoft Purview for metadata management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL pipeline processes.
• Experience managing Data Governance projects and maintaining data catalogs.
• Ability to work with various source systems including SQL, NoSQL, and mainframe databases.

Preferred Skills

• Banking domain experience and Product Management expertise (OKRs, success metrics, product onboarding).
• Proficiency in Power BI, reporting tools, and NoSQL.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
