Description

Lead application delivery programs for IRS enterprise platforms, including ECM solutions, ensuring alignment with federal standards and agency goals.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of application delivery programs, serving as the primary point of contact for IRS stakeholders.
• Manage program governance, schedules, staffing plans, risks, and financial performance to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee software development activities including design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment within agile or release-based frameworks.
• Coordinate multiple agile teams and cross-functional groups to support modernization, legacy system transitions, and data migration efforts.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards including security, enterprise architecture, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience managing large IT programs or enterprise application delivery initiatives.
• Proven experience leading agile software development programs with multiple cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated background in managing federal or government IT programs.
• Strong program governance and risk management skills.
• Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with ECM solutions.
