Description

Lead complex, cross-functional IT programs from concept through deployment within the gRED Informatics portfolio.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate advanced scientific and computational needs into technical requirements by partnering with Research Directors, Principal Investigators, and Lab Managers.
• Coordinate agile engineering squads, data science teams, UX researchers, vendor partners, and cybersecurity experts for synchronized delivery.
• Manage program budgets, cross-project dependencies, and resource allocations.
• Guide the modernization of laboratory data management systems (LIMS, ELN), multi-omics pipelines, cloud HPC, and AI/ML model deployment infrastructure.
• Evaluate external specialized software providers and drive organizational change management to ensure adoption of new digital tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in program management.
• Experience with AI/ML model deployment infrastructure.
• Knowledge of LIMS and ELN systems.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
• Strong background in translating scientific needs into technical requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-omics pipelines and cloud HPC environments.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies in a research context.
