Description

Lead compute-related infrastructure projects including server refresh, data center transformation, cloud migration, virtualization upgrades, and capacity expansion.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure on-time, within-budget execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and IT leadership, presenting status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Compute Engineering, Storage, Security, and Service Management teams, coordinating with vendors and system integrators.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, and actuals while managing resourcing plans for internal teams and external partners.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, managing change requests and leading escalation efforts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years overall IT experience with 10+ years in infrastructure or compute-focused project management.
• Solid understanding of server platforms (Windows, Linux) and virtualization (VMware preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in global, matrixed organizations.
• Strong stakeholder communication, presentation, risk management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience with SAFe or ITIL Foundation frameworks.
