Description

You will own the validation and verification lifecycle for complex software systems, ensuring compliance with safety-critical standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies, plans, and estimates aligned with project delivery schedules.
• Design and develop validation environments, including web/desktop apps, VMs, test benches, and OS configurations.
• Ensure requirements traceability and maintain compliance with the Requirements Management Plan.
• Integrate components from various development teams to prepare validation platforms.
• Automate integration and validation tasks using scripts and batch files, producing comprehensive result reports and defect Change Requests.

Required Skills

• 3-8 years of experience in Software Testing and Requirement Based Testing.
• Strong expertise in Black Box Testing, Boundary Value Analysis, and integration testing.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP and SNMP.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., ClearCase) and bug reporting tools (e.g., Bugzilla, Clear Quest).
• Bachelor’s or Post Graduate degree in Engineering (IT, CS, ECE, EEE) or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in Railway Signaling, CENELEC SIL4, DO178A, or DO178 standards.
• Experience testing Kubernetes-based applications and robustness analysis.
• Familiarity with HTTPS/TLS protocols.
