Description

You will own application modernization efforts, focusing on database and business logic refactoring.

Responsibilities

• Review and document current application architecture, data models, and stored procedures.
• Refactor and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions for cloud migration.
• Execute data extraction, mapping, validation, and transformation for ETL workflows.
• Convert legacy DHTML forms into modern UI components.
• Document backend automation, scheduled jobs, triggers, and dependencies.

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, triggers, packages, views).
• Strong SQL skills with experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with data migration, ETL processes, and schema transformations.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and document logic from legacy applications and undocumented codebases.
• Experience with legacy UI technologies (DHTML, HTML/JavaScript forms).
• Familiarity with task schedulers and automated data workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Oracle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of reporting/BI tools (Power BI).
• Scripting with Python.
