Description

You will serve as a lead Java developer on primary assignments, translating business needs into functional software.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement Java application components.
• Collaborate with developers to build Java solutions replacing legacy COBOL functions.
• Write, test, and document application code, ensuring stability and functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix application issues while maintaining security integrity.
• Coordinate programming activities across the team and resolve technical conflicts with stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (versions 8, 11, or 17+).
• Expertise with Java frameworks, including Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience implementing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle).
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles.
• Experience with Docker and containerization concepts.
