Description

You will build and maintain accessible, high-performance UI components for the MDOT Development program.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, responsive, and performant UI components using React.js.
• Ensure strict compliance with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Test code for accessibility using JAWS reader and various browser plugins.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, business analysts, and development teams.
• Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to scalable architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with React.js, HTML5, and CSS frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 compliance.
• 3+ years of experience with Java 8+ and Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Data.
• 2+ years of experience with the JPA framework.
• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong understanding of User Experience design principles and standards.
