Description

You will serve as a technical lead for application development and data architecture within agency services.

Responsibilities

• Design and review logical and physical data models using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Provide technical guidance to application development teams and departmental developers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure application architecture aligns with business requirements.
• Manage data conversion between multiple systems and implement data transformation strategies.
• Develop prototypes, mockups, and documentation to ensure logical system flow.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing and reviewing logical and physical data models in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• 6+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and analytic experience.
• 6+ years of experience writing SQL packages, functions, triggers, and performing mass data updates/deletes.
• 3+ years of experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
• 3+ years of experience in data conversion and transformation strategies.
• Expertise in designing logical and physical database models in Oracle and SQL Server.
• Proficiency with metadata management and data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER Studio.
• Experience working on large agile projects.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to integrate software components into fully functional systems.
