Description

You will lead the maintenance, support, and enhancement of complex Java applications and automated processes within critical healthcare systems. You will design, develop, and test core components using Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Angular.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful Web Services and business application components using Java/JEE technologies.
• Act as a technical lead, providing guidance to developers and overseeing technical implementation.
• Execute the full software development life cycle, from gathering requirements to writing functional and technical specifications.
• Design and maintain logical and physical database models, including stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Integrate software components into fully functional systems and manage builds using Maven.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security.
• Proficiency with Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Apache Struts.
• Experience with frontend technologies including Angular, jQuery, HTML5, JavaScript, and XML.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful Web Services, SOAP, and Java Messaging Service (JMS) API.
• Advanced database skills in Oracle and SQL Server, including PL/SQL, query tuning, and database design.
• Experience with application servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBOSS, WebSphere, or OpenShift Containers.
• Proficiency with GIT for source control and Maven for build automation.
• Experience working within large Agile projects and following the SDLC.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or ActiveMQ broker.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) HL7 solutions or 5010 EDI X12 healthcare claims processing.
