Description

You will serve as a technical lead responsible for the maintenance, support, and enhancement of complex, critical Java applications used for recording health information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of legacy Java applications to the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Design and develop RESTful Web Services and business application components using Object Oriented Java/JEE technologies.
• Write well-designed, testable code using Spring MVC, Hibernate, and various front-end technologies.
• Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC), from gathering requirements to writing functional and technical specifications.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to other developers while participating in analytical assignments for project integration and implementation.
• Design and maintain logical and physical database models, including stored procedures and functions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing complex computer systems using Java and IDEs such as Eclipse or STS.
• 10+ years of programming experience with SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• 8+ years of experience with Java JEE Struts and Spring/SpringBoot frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Proficiency in Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security.
• Experience with Hibernate, SOAP Web Services, and Java Messaging Service (JMS) API.
• Strong front-end skills in jQuery, HTML5, JavaScript, XML, and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, GIT, and creating CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with application servers including Apache Tomcat, JBOSS, and WebSphere.
• Expertise in database design for Oracle and SQL Server.
• Ability to implement design patterns such as DAO, Singleton, Service Locator, and Front Controller.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or ActiveMQ broker.
