Description

You will lead the maintenance, support, and enhancement of critical Java applications in health information recording, including migrating legacy systems to OpenShift Container Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful Web Services and business components using Object Oriented Java/JEE.
• Execute full SDLC from requirements gathering to functional and technical specifications.
• Design and maintain logical and physical database models, including stored procedures.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to other developers.
• Migrate legacy Java applications to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).

Required Skills

• 10+ years developing complex systems using Java and IDEs like Eclipse or STS.
• 10+ years programming experience with SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• 8+ years with Java JEE, Struts, and Spring/SpringBoot frameworks.
• 3+ years experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Proficiency in Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security.
• Experience with Hibernate, SOAP Web Services, and Java Messaging Service (JMS).
• Strong front-end skills in jQuery, HTML5, JavaScript, XML, and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in Oracle and SQL Server database design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or ActiveMQ broker.
